Hi I’m Catherine, director of Catherine Bradley Photography. Always having a passion for creativity, is what led my adventurous path to establishing my business nearly two decades ago.
I've ALWAYS been a creative, from painting and drawing to using my mums kodak tele - instamatic 330 and the classic polaroid cameras. At school I worked with film, then onto my degree which was bursting full of inspiring Art and Design projects. Travelling beckoned, and I landed in the gorgeous Cayman Islands where I stayed for over 3 years and bought my SLR and abused it to the hilt. This gave me the platform to travel all over the world enabling me to soak up all genres of Photography. It became apparent whilst travelling in Asia the strong connection I was always going to have with Photography and here I am.
I feel so privileged to have photographed so many wonderful and interesting people all over the world and in so many beautiful destinations throughout my life. Some of which have been featured in publications, (Hello, O.K etc) and blogs (Wedded Wonderland, House of the Biso etc) around the globe. There is nothing more fulfilling handing beautiful photographs to your Bride and Groom, that you have captured from one of the best days of their lives, that will be looked back on fondly for years to come - who wouldn’t love this job.
I adore using as much natural light as the day will give me, I find it adds that extra magical touch to your photos and brings out the true beauty in the venue, the expressions and the emotions. My style is unique, romantic and fun with a creative twist, influenced by both fine art photography and reportage.
Having worked with lots of high profile clients I understand the importance of discretion and over the years have been very fortunate to establish long term relationships which will last for years. I find it so important to understand my couples, as this relatable connection can only lead to success. Trust is an integral part of choosing your Wedding Photographer, after all your putting your future memories in their hands so it's important to make sure it’s not only the work you love, but also the person you've chosen to capture the day.
Dedicated to providing the best quality work and service to every one of our couples, I only take a limited number of destination Weddings per month. So please contact Catherine Bradley Photography for our Pricing Portfolio.
It’s important for me to have time to reflect and get my inspiration and creativity juices flowing. This involves long walks with my pup Eric and yoga, pilates and very energetic spin classes. I’m a massive foodie and love a good New Zealand Sauvingnon.
