With the temperatures soaring this week and the fact that most of us would love to be living 24/7 in a swimming pool right now, I was thinking how great the invention of the Pool Farewell Party is. Planners, of course are THE experts at executing fabulous goodbye celebrations as an addition to your Wedding itinerary.

It is the perfect end to a bonanza of Wedding wonderfulness! Personally I love them. One more day spending time with all your besties, a bit more chill, before everyone returns back to their crazy busy lives.

There’s nothing like a Wedding in Lake Como to let you know summer is well and truly here. Photographed at the splendid @villadelbalbianello

Como never disappoints, it ALWAYS takes my breath away when driving around that corner, and the lake comes into view. No matter how many times I’ve photographed Weddings here I fall in love with it over and over, not surprisingly this is where my husband proposed.

The backdrop to many movies and home to many familiar faces, it boasts iconic views as far as the eye can see, THE perfect Wedding destination personalised by ‘you’.

I thought a little reintroduction was in order seeing as the fab @staceyclarkephoto was kind enough to Photograph me in the midst of the mayhem on our recent trip to Barcelona.

I’ve been a Photographer for over 20years. (Yes I know, so lots of experience🤣) Weddings, Fashion, Events and Portraits, and yes I honestly do love it 🤍

I’ve had the privilege of documenting some incredible moments, in a way that feels very personal. From clients that are looking for someone they can trust, to someone that simply listens. For me, it’s not only about the photos it’s about the whole experience, empathy, and kindness whilst also delivering kick ass photos. I feel it’s never just about how the photos look, but also about the ‘feels’.

Can you remember, looking at those photos how you felt?

I love meeting new people, it creates that special trusting relationship from behind the camera. It’s the key I find to producing those real ‘you’ Photos. Let’s be honest we all want to look incredible, but also like ourselves, and that’s what we do!
